Our Story
Every story begins somewhere. Ours began in a parked car, with a conversation about our daughter.

Where It All Began
The idea behind TRISORELLA Story House began on an ordinary day in St. Albert, Alberta. While one of my daughters was in attending guitar lessons, my wife and I sat in the car talking about her sisters childhood and the challenges she had experienced growing up with a disability. One thing kept coming back to us; how little we had seen in children's books and activities that reflected her experiences. We began wondering how wonderful it would be to create a coloring book that included childen and adults of different abilities simply enjoying everyday life.
One Idea Became Another
That simple conversation became the beginning of our first colouring-book project. Before long, the idea expanded into childrens stories, characters, and a fictional summer camp built around friendship, family, history, and generations of memories. The camp, originally called Trellamere, began taking shape as a world of its own.

The Meaning Behind TRISORELLA
The idea of three sisters was deeply personal. Our family includes three daughters: the two daughters my wife and I share, and my wife's birth daughter, whom she placed for adoption before we met. Today, all three know one another and share a wonderful relationship. Their bond is something I treasure deeply. While exploring variations of "Three Sisters" in different languages, I arrived at Tre Sorelle. Over time that evolved into a more distinctive single word: TRISORELLA.
Three sisters. Countless stories. One story house.
A Home for Every Imagination
Although our journey began with the idea of an inclusive colouring book, TRISORELLA Story House was never intended to be limited to one kind of story. We want to create children's books that inspire imagination, activities that encourage creativity, and fiction that draws readers into entirely different worlds.

What started with two parents having a conversation outside a guitar lesson has grown into an idea for a publishing house with many stories yet to tell. And at the heart of it all will be three sisters.
